FortiGate Multi-Threat Security for Large Enterprises and Providers
Fortinet's Solution for Large Enterprises and Service providers, which includes the FortiGate-5000 Series, FortiGate-3000 and FortiGate-3600A multi-threat security systems, delivers best-of-breed, network-based blended threat protection. They can provide real-time antivirus protection for email and Web traffic in conjunction with existing firewall, VPN and IDS systems, or can be deployed for full network protection services with a simple configuration change. These gigabit-capacity units are designed to meet the most stringent requirements for performance and reliability, and include redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fans to minimize single-point failures, and also support redundant fail-over with no interruption in service. The high capacity, reliability and easy management of units in this series make them natural choices for managed service offerings.

FortiGate-5000 Series

The FortiGate-5000 systems are a family of chassis based modular systems that provide the highest scalability for multi-threat security. Three chassis are available, a FortiGate-5020 (2 slot), FortiGate-5050 (5 slot) and the FortiGate-5140 (14 slot). The family also consists of variuos security modules; a FortiGate-5001 multi-threat security processing module, a FortiGate 5001FA2 multi-threat security processing module with FortiAccel wirespeed firewall performance, a FortiGate-5005FA2 multi-threat security module with higher content inspection and wirespeed firewall performance, and a FortiGate-5003 Switch fabric module. All members of the FortiGate-5000 family can contain multiple FortiGate-5001 modules but the FortiGate-5003 can only be used in the FortiGate-5050 and FortiGate-5140 chassis.

FortiGate-3600A

The FortiGate-3600A multi-threat security appliance establishes a new level of price-performance and flexibility for multi-gigabit capacity network security systems. With ten gigabit-capacity interfaces and up to 6 Gbps throughput, the FortiGate-3600A enables a new generation of high performance protection against today's increasingly content-based attacks.
